Memory Cafes
The challenge with memory loss is that it breaks social connections at a time when it is likely needed the most. Memory Café gatherings are a way people with memory loss and their care companions are coming together to make friendships, support each other, and create a sense of community.
Join us for Memory Cafes at the Studio Channel Islands art center for an uplifting, supportive and relaxing lunch-time gathering intentionally designed for people living with memory loss issues such as occurs with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, brain injury and other conditions. The low-key atmosphere recognizes the challenges of enjoying outings and provides lunch and an interactive art activity led by Studio Channel Islands. There is no cost to attend.
